Great Dane Friends is dedicated to saving Danes and other mixed breeds even if they have special needs or health problems, unlike many other rescues!

Woofstock is Sept. 11 and is brought to you by Great Dane Friends of Ruff Love and Blue Ridge Boxer Rescue! Come join us at Amos' Southend in Charlotte for lots of great shopping, music, food, available rescue dogs for adoption, 60's themed photos with your pup, meet several local non profits and rescue groups on site, and a great SILENT AUCTION. $5 donation gets you in the door, and your first drink is on the house!  This is our biggest fundraiser of the year - guaranteed to be a groovy time!

Shiloh recently had life-saving surgery to repair a diaphragmatic hernia that was limiting his lung function.

Tessa had to have emergency surgery when she bloated, but is recovering nicely now. Special thanks to her foster mom for rushing her to the emergency vet in time to save her life!
